About me

Here is the hero of my last story Bonzo the Wonder Dog and the Cricket World Cup

Bonzo was drawn by the talented Rikin Parekh author of Fly Tiger Fly and the illustrator of the Iguana Boy stories.

I grew up in Kent and attended Braeside School, The New Beacon School and Sevenoaks School.

I have a useless degree in English and Fine Art. Despite this, I have worked in the Wine Trade, in a Bank in Bangladesh, India and London and finally ended up teaching English, History and Cricket at Sussex House School in London. (Daniel Radcliffe was there while I was, it is my only claim to fame.)

Since 2001 I have been a 'stay at home' Dad juggling the things on my wife's to-do-list, two children and a number of other projects.

I love all sport, particularly cricket which I play for a Knockholt Cricket Club. I have also turned out for Singapore Cricket Club and The Authors XI. I train at my local amateur boxing club and play Real Tennis at Hampton Court and Lord's.
