I grew up in Kent and attended Braeside School, The New Beacon School and Sevenoaks School.
I have a useless degree in English and Fine Art. Despite this, I have worked in the Wine Trade, in a Bank in Bangladesh, India and London and finally ended up teaching English, History and Cricket at Sussex House School in London. (Daniel Radcliffe was there while I was, it is my only claim to fame.)
Since 2001 I have been a 'stay at home' Dad juggling the things on my wife's to-do-list, two children and a number of other projects.
I love all sport, particularly cricket which I play for a Knockholt Cricket Club. I have also turned out for Singapore Cricket Club and The Authors XI. I train at my local amateur boxing club and play Real Tennis at Hampton Court and Lord's.
